A lyophilised vial is a mass, not a dose. How much you draw depends entirely on how much water you put in, and insulin syringes are graduated in units rather than millilitres, which is where the arithmetic usually goes wrong. The arithmetic

Adding W mL of bacteriostatic water to a vial holding M mg of peptide gives a solution of M ÷ W mg per mL. A dose of D mg is therefore D ÷ (M ÷ W) mL of that solution. An insulin syringe is graduated so that 100 units = 1 mL, so multiplying by 100 gives the number of units to draw.

Water volume changes nothing about the dose, only how easy it is to measure. More water spreads the same dose over more units of the barrel, which is what you want when a dose lands below about two units; less water keeps a large dose inside a small syringe. The vial still holds the same total amount either way.

What this does not tell you

This is unit conversion, and nothing more. It does not know whether a peptide is worth taking, whether a dose is safe, or whether it dissolves at the concentration you have asked for. The doses offered alongside each peptide are the ones reported in the literature or, where labelled, commonly reported community practice: they are shown so you can see what has actually been used, not as a recommendation. The calculation also assumes the vial contains what the label says and that the peptide fully dissolves. Neither is guaranteed for material sold outside a pharmacy.
